Who we are
Barabara SACCO was established on July 1, 2011, as a Savings and Credit Co-operative Society to provide tailored financial services to employees of the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA). Recognizing the need for broader financial inclusion, the SACCO expanded its membership criteria in 2019, allowing individuals from other organizations to join. Today, Barabara SACCO operates under the regulatory framework of the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA), ensuring transparency, financial stability, and adherence to industry standards.
Membership is open to:
- Barabara SACCO employees
- KeNHA employees
- All roads sector employees
- Spouses and children of principal members
- Any other organization approved by the Boar
Incorporation

Barabara SACCO was registered as a Savings and Credit Co-operative Society on 1st July 2011 to offer financial services to KeNHA staff members.

In the year 2019 Barabara SACCO opened it's common bond to allow members from other organizations to join.
